Pupil Premium & Sports Grant

    School Sports Premium Grant

     Schools receive funding to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and sport they offer to:         

          -  develop or add to the PE and sport activities that your school already offers

          -  make improvements now that will benefit pupils joining the school in future years

 

 

In 2020/21, the grant is £16,000 + £10 per pupil. = approx £19,250

Sports Premium 2020/21

In 2019/20, only one of our Y5 classes went swimming due to the COVID lockdown. they attended the Colton Hills pool.

From those sessions:

Swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres  74% (up from 48% in 2019/20)

Use a range of strokes effectively  55% (up from 48% in 2019/20)

Perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations  32% (up from 26% in 2019/20)
 

 

Pupil Premium Grant

The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.
