Welcome to Wonderful Warstones!
Thank you for your interest in our amazing school. We are a large community primary school in Penn, Wolverhampton and are proud to serve a community of diverse social, ethnic, faith and inclusion needs. We aim to work alongside our families and carers to provide a joyful, aspirational and safe environment in which our children can thrive, enjoy learning and growing together. We support all in realising their full potential to become confident ambassadors for our community and wider afield in the future. We strive to be a hub for the community, somewhere that all who walk through our doors feel welcomed, supported and valued. We are here for the whole family and for generations past , present and future.
In September 2019, we opened a new Deaf Resource Base at the school, building on our desire to be an inclusive learning establishment for as many as possible. Children with HI are welcomed and included into the body of the school, working and playing with their peers while still receiving the specialist support they need.
We have a designated 'Families at the Front' room, where we welcome our parents, carers, friends and others in the community to come into school for a growing number of events and organisied workshops to support and help our locality and all who live in it.
We are very proud that Ofsted verified our grade as a good school in every category (April 2017) and we are always striving to build upon the positive features that were identified by the inspectors and constantly improve to aspire, develop and challenge our children.
The best way to get to know a school is by visiting! We welcome families interested in a place here to come and look around, meet the staff and experience the ethos and family atmosphere of our inspirational community.
Come and visit - we would love to see you!
